CCL13 ( English CC chemokine ligand 13 ) is a cytokine belonging to the family of the C-C chemokines .

properties

CCL8 is involved in inflammatory processes. It is chemotactic for and activates various immune cells including monocytes , eosinophils , T lymphocytes and basophils by binding to CCR2 , CCR3 and CCR5 . CCL13 is involved in the development of asthma . CCL13 is induced by the cytokines interleukin-1 and TNF-α .
