CCL19 ( English CC chemokine ligand 19 ) is a cytokine belonging to the family of the C-C chemokines .

properties

CCL19 is involved in inflammatory processes. It is mainly formed in the thymus and lymph nodes , in moderate amounts in the windpipe and colon, and in small amounts in the stomach , intestines , lungs , kidneys and spleen . It is chemotactic for various immune cells , including dendritic cells and antigen-activated B cells , and CCR7 -positive memory central T cells .
