The Club Deportivo Dénia is a Spanish football club from Dénia in the Valencian Community . The club was founded in 1927 and plays its home games at Camp Nou de Dénia , which has space for 3,000 spectators.
history
The club was founded in 1927 and has spent a long time in the regional leagues of the Valencian community. In 1980, the club rose for the first time in the Tercera División , where you could complete his group immediately as third in the table. But there were still no major successes and the CD Dénia always shuttled between the regional leagues and the fourth division. In the 2006/07 season you could win Group 4 of the Tercera División and prevail in the final of the playoffs against the CD San Fernando de Henares , whereby the promotion to the Segunda División B and the qualification for the Copa del Rey 2007/08 succeeded. There the club failed only in the round of 32 at the first division club Sevilla FC . In the 2009/10 season, the team drove in fifth in the table, the best result in the third division and qualified again for the 2010/11 Copa del Rey .
