The Clube Desportivo Olivais e Moscavide - [oliˈvajʃ i muʃkɐˈvid (ɨ)] - is a football club from Loures in the greater area of the Portuguese capital Lisbon . The association was founded on September 1, 1912 as Rua Nova Futebol Clube , then renamed itself to Clube Desportivo dos Olivais in 1935 and took on its current name in May 1977. The home stadium is the Estádio Alfredo Marques Augusto, which has perhaps 5000 seats.
The club first took part in official competitions in 1931/32. In 1977 he rose to the fourth class (then?) National third division (3ª Divisão), 1983/84 in the 2ª Divisão Nacional, but immediately rose again. In 1988/89 there was renewed promotion and with ninth place the best placement so far. In the following season, however, came another relegation, although with the advance into the second round of the cup, a respectable success could be booked.
Two seasons later, the club rose again to the 2ª Divisão Nacional and was able to hold this time until 1996/97. In 1994/95 the club even reached the quarter-finals of the cup.
After the interim recovery, the club was 2005/06 champion of the 2ª Divisão Nacional and rose to the second-class Liga de Honra - called Segunda Divisão these days - but rose as the penultimate again directly.
The club that now plays in the leagues of the Lisbon Association - in 2012/13 in the II AF Lisboa - fell into disrepair.
