CEC European Managers

CEC European Managers ( CEC for short , Confédération Européenne des Cadres) is a social partner who represents around one million managers across Europe who belong to national umbrella organizations and professional associations. Since the late 1980s, the CEC, with its headquarters in Brussels, has made a significant contribution to the integration process of the EU .

CEC European Managers is one of the six cross-sector European social partners. On the part of the employees, these are the European trade union confederation ETUC , EUROCADRES and CEC European Managers and on the part of the employers the associations BUSINESSEUROPE , CEEP and UEAPME .

history

The management associations from Italy , Germany and France founded the CIC (Confédération Internationale des Cadres) in 1951. In 1989 the European umbrella organization CEC (Confédération Européenne des Cadres) was founded. Ten years later, the CEC was part of the workers' delegation in the negotiation of the social protocol .

aims

The aim of CEC European Managers is to represent and promote the interests of managers within the framework of the European institutions . The CEC is an independent European social partner in the European social dialogue.
