CH7 is the first feature film to be released under a Creative Commons license (attribution, non-commercial, no editing). It can be downloaded for free. It was published almost simultaneously with the start of the German Creative Commons licenses. In the film, Swiss German spoken.

Tina works for the (fictional) channel CH7 . She actually wants to make serious films, but is mainly used by the broadcaster for trash productions. Out of frustration, she begins to make her own film with her friends Diego and Sebastian - using methods that are not entirely legal. They involve bystanders in the act against their will and act in a mask. The equipment is stolen from the broadcaster.
Emergence
The film was produced exclusively by volunteers. Denise Meili , who plays the main character Tina , is the only professional actress involved in the film.
Festivals and distribution
The film was shown abroad for the first time at the Wizards of OS conference in 2004. Furthermore, it was applied to the light match days in Winterthur and at the film festival Spiez shown. The premiere took place on April 25, 2004 in Baden (Switzerland) .
In addition to the possibility of free downloading, the film is also available on DVD .
