CAN Thessaloniki
CAN Thessaloniki ( Greek Χριστιανική Αδελφότητα Νέων Θεσσαλονίκης , short ΧΑΝΘ) is the local association of the YMCA in the Greek city of Thessaloniki . The club was founded in 1921 and has produced successful sports teams.
basketball
The YMCA Thessaloniki co-founded the basketball championship for youth teams in 1968, which he won in 1970 and 1971. The men's team qualified twice for the European club competition Korać Cup ( 1973 and 1973/74 ).
Handball
The club's men's team has been playing in the top Greek division A1 league since 2010, to which it belonged from 2005 to 2008. The qualification for the final round of the championship has not yet succeeded.
