The HXD1D is an electric locomotive for fast passenger transport on China Railways . HX is the abbreviation for harmony (Chinese: hé xié ), D stands for electric (diàn), 1 stands for locomotives that are built by the Zhuzhou locomotive factory, and D stands for the consecutive designation of the individual series.
technical features
The locomotive has a Einzelachsantrieb means of asynchronous motors, the three water cooled IGBT - converters are supplied.
The HXD1D is able to accelerate a train of 20 wagons (3000 passengers) to 160 km / h in 5 minutes.
The starting tensile force is 420 kN and the continuous tensile force is 324 kN.
