CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics
The CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics by CRC Press is a standard work in chemical literature and physics that has been reprinted regularly since 1913 . The 99th edition was published in 2018. It contains tables with material properties of chemical compounds as well as mathematical and physical formulas.
The 100th edition has been announced for June 2019, again has over 2500 pages and costs around US $ 230 again.
A student edition "CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, Student Edition", last published as the 84th edition in 2004, has 2,576 pages and costs US $ 105. ISBN 978-0-8493-0597-9 .
Structure in sections
The page designations consist of two parts, separated by a short horizontal hyphen ("-"). The first part names the section, the second part is a page number with up to 3 digits, counted separately within the respective section.

Abbreviations
Even if there are now various CRC Handbooks , the jargon expressions CRC , Rubber (CRC is the abbreviation of the Chemical Rubber Company ) or Handbook still refer to this work.
Online edition
The interactive online edition is chargeable and offers a full text search, linking descriptions of chemical compounds, supports the creation of graphics and the creation of structural formulas for organic compounds.
Searchable PDF files are archived from the previous print editions back to the 84th edition (2003-2004).
Some tables that were last published before the 84th edition and were then removed from the work are also archived.
Others
On the occasion of the issue of the 85th edition, the publisher decided to issue a facsimile edition of the first edition from 1913. The foreword was written by the editor-in-chief David R. Lide. The facsimile edition has 116 pages.
