The Arpitettazhütte is a refuge of the Swiss Alpine Club Section La Dôle in the Valais Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland .

Location and operation

The hut is at the back of the high mountains in the Val d'Anniviers at the western foot of the Weisshorn at 2786 m above sea level. M. and is operated and maintained by the La Dôle section of the Swiss Alpine Club.

history

The stone alpine hut, built and modernized in 1953, is nestled between Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn and Besso . All ascents have a high alpine character. The alpine transition to the Tracuithütte is only for experienced alpine hikers (passages secured with chains).

Approaches

From Zinal via Le Chiesso (normal route) in 4 ½ hours, ascent 1180 meters in altitude, level of difficulty T3.
From Zinal via Pas du Chasseur in 4 hours, ascent 1180 meters in altitude, difficulty level T4 +.
