The Mondragó is a bay in the east of the Balearic island of Mallorca . The Cala Mondragó belongs to the area of the municipality of Santanyí .
Location and description
The Cala Mondragó is located about 5 km southeast of the municipality of Santanyí and about 2 km west of the town of Portopetro . It belongs to the Parc natural de Mondragó .
The bay has a width of about 200 meters and a length of about 200 meters. A narrow point with a clear width of around 120 meters gives the impression that there are two bays.
The Cala Mondragó has two beaches
- ses Fonts de n'Alís , sandy beach
- s'Amarador , sandy beach
In the outer, extended part of the bay there are two smaller incisions
- Caló des Borgit , sandy beach
- Caló den Perdiu ,
