Caleb Ross

Caleb Ross (born December 10, 1981 in Whangarei , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actor, whose greatest success was the role of Lex in the science fiction series The Tribe . In 1998 he played Logan Patterson in the New Zealand series Shortland Street . He also had two guest appearances in the series Xena , which is attributed to the fantasy genre. He is also an avid musician who also owns numerous guitars.

Life

Ross was one of eight children and appeared in the musical theater in his hometown at the age of nine. At the Whangerei Amateur Opera, he took part in stage productions such as Godspell , Jesus Christ Superstar , Evita and Peter Pan .

His father eventually put an agent on his side when he starred in the ill -written short film Devondale Dogs in 1994 . So it appeared a little later in a McDonald’s advertisement. At 14, he had his first movie kiss on Shortland Street. In 1999 he was cast on The Tribe series and got the role of Lex, a selfish macho who realizes too late that Tai San ( Michelle Ang ) is his true love. He is the only actor on The Tribe to appear in all seasons 1-5 episodes, with the exception of one episode.

He later sang the song This Is The Place with fellow actors Dwayne Cameron and Daniel James and the song Abe Messiah with Meryl Cassie . There, however, all actors from The Tribe sang along. In 2001 he was interviewed on the New Zealand TV show The Big Breakfast .

In 2006 he made an appearance on the New Zealand show Dragon * Con with Tribe co-stars Tom Hern ( Ram ) and Matt Robinson ( Slade ) .

In 2007 he had a guest appearance with The Tribe actor Michael Wesley-Smith in the film The Last Great Snail Chase .
