The Caleta Couyoumdjian ( Spanish ; in Argentina Caleta Hubac ) is a bay on the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately south-southeast of Leniz Point and 1.5 km south of Bryde Island .
Chilean scientists named it after the later Vice Admiral Hernán Couyoumdjian Bergamnali (* 1942), captain of the Yelcho to rescue the Lindblad Explorer, which was damaged in 1979 . Argentine scientists, however, named them after the Argentine freedom fighter Ángel Hubac (1780-1820) , who came from France .
