The Calf Point ( English for Kalblandspitze ) is a headland on the Pennell coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the west bank of Robertson Bay , west of Penelope Point , it marks the eastern boundary of the mouth of the Nielsen Glacier .
The northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) led by British polar explorer Victor Campbell mapped the formation. They named it after the large number of seal calves they encountered here.
