The Calgary Tower is a 190.8 meter high observation tower in the Canadian city of Calgary . The tower was originally called The Husky Tower until it got its current name on November 1, 1971. The 3.5 million Canadian dollars expensive tower is a joint venture of the two companies Marathon Realty Company Limited and Husky Energy .

Facilities

In the tower there is a revolving restaurant, the Sky 360, next to the viewing platform. The tower is connected to the +15 Skywalk system of the city of Calgary. In the lobby there is another restaurant (Ruth's Chris Steakhouse), a souvenir shop and the town's tourist information center.
