California.pro is an AVA software for cost planning and construction cost management for LV creation, cost estimation, cost calculation, tendering, data exchange according to GAEB and ÖNORM , DIN 276 , tender review, e-procurement, billing and cost control up to cost determination. The software is suitable for companies of all sizes.

According to the manufacturer, G&W Software AG from Munich, more than 7,000 companies work with construction software from G&W.

Product description

California.pro is a consistent 64-bit, modular structure and has flexible licensing as a concurrent user model. The software is available as a Small Business Edition, Business Edition and Enterprise Edition.

The system supplements the classic AVA approach for the creation of construction worksheets and their allocation and billing by the early planning phases of cost estimation and cost calculation as well as cost documentation, e.g. B. according to the DIN 276 prescribed in the HOAI . The construction software supports the user from the budget through the HOAI phases 1–9 to the cost determination and documentation of the completed construction project.

With the publication of the California.pro module BIM2AVA, G&W Software AG u. a. on the step-by-step plan for the introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Germany and thus enables model-oriented cost planning with a commercial building model. With the BIM2AVA module, which was integrated in 2015, the user links the CAD 3D model with cost planning and tendering.

G&W Software AG developed the first XML-based standard ERP interface for construction management to SAP , Schleupen.CS, Navision and other ERP systems and thus enables the integration of processes relating to construction and construction maintenance in the company-wide IT landscapes of energy - and water management.

history

In 1983 the managing directors and shareholders Erwin Grütter and Achim Warkotsch founded G&W Software Entwicklung GmbH in Munich. In 2016, the GmbH changed into G&W Software AG. The first developments were carried out on Olivetti computers. The switch to Windows took place via MS-DOS .

Predecessors are California 3000 and California classic. The first version of the AVA software California.pro was presented in 2010 at DEUBAU in Essen.

Architecture and planning offices of all disciplines, utilities and waste disposal companies, building authorities and municipal companies as well as construction departments of a wide variety of companies. From small offices to large companies, California.pro can be used for a variety of construction and building maintenance tasks.
