California Molefe

California Molefe (born March 12, 1980 ) is a Botswana athlete . He specializes in the 400-meter run . According to World Athletics , his competition weight is 70 kg at a height of 1.84 m, according to the Tilastopaja athlete database and Olympedia 62 kg at 1.72 m.

successes

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney he took part with the Botswana 4 x 400 meter relay , which survived the preliminary round there, but was eliminated in the semi-finals. The 4-by-400-meter relay of Botswana won the 2003 African Games in Abuja with him . At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens California Mofele reached the final with the 4 x 400 meter relay, in which she was 8th. In the 400-meter run, he retired from this Olympiad with 45.88 seconds in the lead. His greatest success was the silver medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Moscow in 2006 with 45.75 s. Only Alleyne Francique was faster there. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne , California Molefe was sixth with 45.78 s. He won the 2007 African Games in Algiers with 45.59 s.
