Camilla Götzl
Camilla Götzl (born June 10, 1876 in Melnik , Central Bohemia , † after 1899) was an Austrian opera singer (soprano) of Bohemian origin.
Life
Götzl was the daughter of a wealthy businessman. She graduated from the Prague Conservatory and was there a. a. Student with opera singer Mathilde Mallinger . With the support of Artistic Director Angelo Neumann , Götzl was able to successfully debut as “Sersella” at the New German Theater in Prague on May 9, 1898 .
From autumn 1899 he was engaged at the Theater des Westens in Berlin .
