Camille Polonceau
Jean-Barthélémy Camille Polonceau (born October 29, 1813 in Chambéry , † September 21, 1859 in Viry-Châtillon ) was a French railway engineer.
Life
He was the son of Antoine-Rémy Polonceau and the biological cousin of Gustave Ernest Polonceau . He received an excellent diploma from the École Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in Paris.
Polonceau is the inventor of the Polonceau tie with double struts arranged like an inverted V. Girders are the load-bearing element for ceiling or roof structures, for example.
He is also the designer of Napoleon III's train impérial . of the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans railway company .
