Camp Sears
Camp Sears was a US Army base two miles outside of Uijeongbu and 20 miles north of Seoul , South Korea . The facility included accommodations for military and civilian personnel belonging to the support units of the 2nd US Infantry Division . Camp Sears was near Camp Red Cloud , the headquarters of the 2nd US Infantry Division and Camp Stanley and was much less well equipped.

closure
The base was closed as part of the troop reduction of the US armed forces in South Korea together with various other military facilities in 2005. the property was returned to the Korean state.
