The Campagne du Neubourg (also Plateau du Neubourg ) is a landscape of Normandy .

geography

The Campagne du Neubourg is located in the Eure département north of Évreux between the rivers Eure in the east and Risle in the west. It borders the Roumois in the north and the Pays d'Ouche in the south-west . Its main town is Le Neubourg . The landscape of the plain is relatively monotonous, villages and hamlets are scattered and there are small forests along the rivers.

economy

Aside from agriculture, tourism has some significance in the region. The Château du Champ de Bataille and the Château d'Harcourt are on the western edge of the landscape. Important communities in the Campagne are Le Neubourg, Montaure , Saint-Aubin-d'Écrosville , Nassandres and Harcourt.
