Can Akkuzu (born May 23, 1997 in Hagenau ) is a French table tennis player . Together with the team, he won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Championships . He is right-handed and uses the European shakehand racket pose.
Career
Akkuzu tried many different sports, but then turned his focus to table tennis. In 2019 he became French champion , among other things , by beating Antoine Hachard in the final in six sets .
He first played in his home club, then was active in Germany for some time, played at TTC Fortuna Passau from 2015 to 2017 and then switched to AS Pontoise-Cergy TT . In France, he was ranked the third best player in February 2019.
