The Canales Dam (Embalse de Canales, Canales Reservoir) is a reservoir on the Genil River in the Spanish Sierra Nevada near Güéjar Sierra , Granada province , Andalusia .
The barrier structure is a 157.5 m high and 340 m long stone embankment dam . The reservoir is 71 million cubic meters in size and covers an area of 1.56 km².
