Candy Finnigan

Candy Finnigan , actually Heather Candace Finnigan , (born May 18, 1946 in Kansas , Missouri ) is an American addiction specialist . She became known in America with her book When Enough is Enough: A comprehensive guide to successful intervention , which appeared in 2008, and the television series Intervention über Addicts.

She is married to the successful musician Mike Finnigan with whom she has two grown children.

The TV series, German, Auf Entzug - Back to Life ran on US television from 2002 to 2012 with 30 episodes. Finnigan appeared in the series as an addiction expert from 2005. In 2010, the series won the 14th Annual PRISM Awards in class TV - documentation .

education

Candy Finnigan has a certification in chemical dependency (eg: Diploma for the treatment of dependence syndrome caused by psychotropic substances ) of the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her clinical training at Cedars-Sinai Hospital , where she worked in the addiction department.
