The Canelles (also: Canalles ) is a river on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia .
geography
The river has its source in the highlands in the southwestern part of the Micoud quarter and runs, partly in wild loops, in a southeastern direction. It passes in the upper reaches of Blanchard , then runs along the village of Desruisseaux and flows south of Micoud between Villa Madeleine and Hellene into the Atlantic . About 1 km northwest of the estuary it is crossed by the Castries-Vieux Fort Highway (Beanfield Road).
