The Canetti Peak ( Bulgarian връх Канети wrach Kaneti ) is a 400 m high mountain on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 1.2 km west-southwest of MacKay Peak . Its almost un-iced western slope is particularly striking.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2004 after the Bulgarian-born writer and Nobel Prize winner Elias Canetti (1905–1994).
