The Canis Heights are a largely snow-covered mountain range in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises between the upper two secondary glaciers of the Millett Glacier on the western edge of the Dyer Plateau .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountains in 1976 after the constellations Canis Major and Canis Minor .
