The Cape Gorbatyi is a pyramid-shaped, rocky Cape on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located 2 km east of Efremova Island in the group of the Rauer Islands and delimits the entrance from Prydz Bay into Buhta Russkogo Soldata to the south .
Scientists from a 1992-1993 campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions visited it. In 2016, the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia adopted a designation made by Russian scientists. The further naming background has not been passed down.
