The Cape Ostryj ( English ; Russian Мыс Острый Mys Ostry , German 'Eckiges Kap' ) is a cape on the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the area of the Bunger Oasis .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this name into English in 1989.
