Cape Rybachiy ( English , Russian Мыс Рыбачий Mys Rybachy , German , Fischer-Cape ' ) is up to 80 m high cape on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . On the southeastern shore of Prydz Bay , it is 2.25 km east of the eastern end of Ranvik Island in the Rauer Islands .
Scientists from a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped it and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated the name into English in 1991.
