Capetus
In Roman mythology, Capetus is a descendant of Aeneas and the eighth king of Alba Longa . He appears in the king list of Dionysius of Halicarnassus with the name Calpetus .
His predecessor was Capys . He ruled for 13 years. If one uses the reigns given by Dionysius of Halicarnassus with a back calculation from the traditional year of the founding of Rome , this corresponds to the years 937 to 924 BC. His successor was Tiberinus Silvius .
