Capitol Police Board

The Capitol Police Board is a three-member federal commission that exercises jurisdiction over the United States Capitol Police at the Capitol in Washington, DC .

This college consists of the following officers :

  1. Architect of the Capitol
  2. Sergeant at Arms of the Senate
  3. Sergeant at Arms of the House of Representatives

The Inspector General (IG) of the United States Capitol Police is also an ex officio member.

The first three members of the Capitol Police Board also form ex officio the Capitol Guide Board , which oversees the United States Capitol Guide Service . The position of chairman of the panel changes regularly, with the Sergeant at Arms of the House of Representatives presiding in even years and the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate in odd years.
