action
The series tells of Woody Paris, who is known as the black captain and, together with his young officers Willie, Charlie, Stacey and Ernie, solves the case with infallible instinct. He lives happily with his wife Barbara Paris. Woody's boss is Jerome Bench. Captain Woody Paris is in a department in Los Angeles . Outside of work, he studies at evening university and takes courses in criminology .
Charisma
In the USA only 11 of the 13 episodes were broadcast, because at the time an unfavorable broadcasting slot was selected with a Saturday broadcast and the competition from other broadcasters was too great. In Germany, a total of 8 episodes of Captain Paris ran every Tuesday evening from September 2, 1980 on the first German television and then from 1983 on the third NDR television programs .
