Bruce Paltrow
Bruce Paltrow (born November 26, 1943 in Brooklyn , New York City , New York , † October 3, 2002 in Rome , Italy ) was an American film and television producer .
Life
Paltrow graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans , Louisiana . He began directing stage productions in New York City in the late 1960s , where he met actress Blythe Danner and married in 1969. His productions included the television series The White Shadow and chief physician Dr. West phall . His last production was the feature film Traumpaare with his daughter Gwyneth Paltrow as the leading actress. His son Jake Paltrow is also active in show business as a producer and director.
Bruce Paltrow died at the age of 58 while vacationing in Rome to celebrate his daughter's 30th birthday. He had suffered from cancer for several years and eventually succumbed to the effects of pneumonia .
