Jake Paltrow
Jake Paltrow (* 26. September 1975 in Los Angeles , California as Jacob Danner Paltrow ) is an American director .
life and career
Jake Paltrow was born in Los Angeles to director and television producer Bruce Paltrow , who died in Rome in 2002 , and actress Blythe Danner . He is the younger brother of Gwyneth Paltrow . Paltrow lives in a relationship with the artist Taryn Simon .
Paltrow followed in his father's footsteps and became a television producer, best known for directing several episodes of NYPD Blue . In 2007 Paltrow made his debut as a director in The Good Night , in which his sister played a leading role. In 2015 he shot the documentary De Palma with Noah Baumbach , in which the director Brian De Palma reports on his work as a director.
