Carina Lau
Carina Lau ( Chinese 劉嘉玲 , Pinyin Liú Jiālíng , Jyutping Lau 4 Gaa 1 -ling 4 ; born December 8, 1965 in Suzhou ) is a Chinese actress.
Life
Carina Lau moved to Hong Kong as a teenager and attended an acting school there. She later starred in some of Wong Kar-Wai's films , such as Ashes of Time (1994) and 2046 (2004). She has been married to actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai since 2008 .
In 2017 she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
