Carl-Hermann Rudloff

Carl-Hermann Rudloff (born July 27, 1890 in Gründorf , Silesia; † June 7, 1949 Frankfurt am Main ) was a German architect who worked on New Frankfurt under the direction of Ernst May .

Rudloff initially worked independently in Breslau , his office was in Sternstrasse 45. During this time, his (not executed) competition design for the Chicago Tribune Tower was created . As the director of the Silesian Homestead, Ernst May commissioned Rudloff to develop the design for the Hirschberg domain.

When May 1925 went to Frankfurt, he took Rudloff with him, who from then on worked for the AG for small apartments (today: ABG Frankfurt Holding ).

As May's assistant, he has now been certified as having made a significant contribution to the project and some of his buildings, for example in the Höhenblick estate .

His estate is in the archive of the Ernst May Society .

Honors

The Carl Hermann Rudloff-Allee in Frankfurt-Kalbach was named in April 2013 after it.
