Carl Anderl

Carl Anderl (born February 25, 1873 ; † after 1943 ) was a German engineer , entrepreneur and magician .

After attending high school, he took on private studies and an internship at AEG . Carl Anderl became an engineer at Wilhelm Lahmeyer & Co. He was also on the board of the Munich branch . He is one of the founders of Amperwerke Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft , based in Munich, of which he was a member of the board from its establishment on July 2, 1908, and later he was also the director of this AG. It was thanks to him that many small towns in the area around Munich were connected to the electricity network before the First World War . In 1937 Anderl left the AG's board of directors. He also worked as a land development officer in Munich.

In his free time, Carl Anderl was busy. among other things with magic tricks and since 1931 was a member of the local circle of Munich of the Magic Circle of Germany , of which he was first chairman for several years.

On May 2, 1932, he received his doctorate in political science from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Friborg (Switzerland) under Professors Schorer and Liesker. The subject of his 107-page dissertation was Electricity in the Household .

Carl Anderl lived in Munich, Brienner Strasse 40.
