Carl August Bobies

Carl August Bobies (born December 16, 1898 in Vienna ; † June 21, 1958 there ) was an Austrian civil servant and paleontologist .

Bobies was a civil servant from 1924 to 1954. Most recently, he held the position of director of the Austrian goods traffic office in Vienna. As a paleontologist, Bobies researched in particular bryozoa from the Young Tertiary . He was a correspondent for the Federal Geological Institute .
