Carl August Canaris
Carl August Canaris (born December 7, 1881 in Rümelingen , Luxembourg; † February 27, 1934 in Muralto , Ticino, Switzerland) was a German manager.
Carl August Canaris was the son of the mill director Carl Canaris . His brother was the Admiral Wilhelm Canaris .
Canaris was most recently General Director of both JA Maffei AG in Munich and the Henschel locomotive and machine factory in Kassel. He shaped the merger of the two companies. After the merger failed, he had to leave both companies in 1929. Canaris died a short time later at the age of only 53 of a heart condition in the Swiss canton of Ticino.
