Carl August Wilhelm von Closen

Carl August Wilhelm von Closen (* approx. 1754 in Esslingen am Neckar ; † December 21, 1776 in Göttingen ) became a member of the Göttingen Hainbund during his studies .

Closen, Protestant, was enrolled on April 27, 1773 at the University of Göttingen as a law student. He was friends with Johann Friedrich Hahn and Johann Martin Miller , through whom he became a member of the "Hainbund" in 1772 or 1773. On March 3, 1775, he was admitted to the Masonic lodge to the golden circle in Göttingen and received the master's degree on September 27, 1776; his guarantor was Miller.
