Carl Baresel

Carl Baresel (born September 1, 1899 in Pforzheim ; † n. Known) was a German building contractor.

Career

Baresel came as the son of the building contractor Wilhelm Baresel and his wife Ruth, b. Köbner, to the world. After practical training and management work on agricultural goods in East Prussia, Pomerania and Mecklenburg, he studied at the Hohenheim Agricultural University and then spent three years as a planter in West and East Africa. After his return, he continued his studies at the commercial college in Frankfurt am Main.

In 1927 he joined the construction company C. Baresel AG in Stuttgart, founded by his grandfather, and was appointed to the board in 1939.

After 1945 he worked on a voluntary basis in committees and associations in the construction industry. He was a member of the presidium of the Main Association of the German Construction Industry and chairman of the civil engineering association . He was also chairman of the board of trustees of the documentation center for structural engineering of the Fraunhofer Society .
