Carl Busse (actor)

Carl Busse (born March 8, 1848 in Hanover - died after 1902) was a German theater actor .

Life

After Busse served his one-year volunteer year, he went to the stage. He made his debut on December 7, 1869 in a student performance in Vienna as " Carl Moor " at the Stadttheater and was also engaged by the theater director Heinrich Laube .

After a short time he was called up for military service. He was involved in several battles in the Franco-Prussian War and then returned to the stage. He started in Meiningen , then moved to Oldenburg , then to Riga and returned to Meiningen in 1875. Busse not only worked in the city itself, but also joined the tour of the Thuringian court theater, which took him to Amsterdam and London , and in 1884 he joined the Dresden Court Theater Association, where he made his debut as "Raoul" in Maiden of Orleans .

Busse played mainly representative roles, but also roles such as "Baumgartner", "Kürassier" in Wallenstein , "Alba" etc. Around 1902 he appeared less on the stage, but mainly worked as an inspector of the extras series.

His life after 1902 is unknown.
