Carl Christoph Hachmeister

Carl Christoph Hachmeister (* 1710 in Engelbostel ; † 1777 in Hamburg ) was a German organist .

Life

Little is known about Hachmeister's life. He was elected organist of the Hamburg Holy Spirit Church on October 18, 1748 . In the 1750s he published a widely acclaimed piano exercise , a minuet with 50 variations.

He was the uncle of Augustus Frederick Christopher Kollmann .
