Carl Friedrich Buchholz
Carl Friedrich Buchholz (born September 21, 1826 in Berlin ; † February 17, 1885 there ) was a German organ builder .
Live and act
Carl Friedrich Buchholz was born in Berlin as the son of the organ builder Carl August Buchholz . He married Emma Heinrich on May 24, 1851. He was artistically less important than his father and died six months after that.
Independent organ buildings by Carl Friedrich Buchholz are not known. A detailed list of all works can be found in the article Carl August Buchholz . For the Parisian organ builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll , whose company was his second training company after that of his father, he installed an organ with 40 stops on three manuals and a pedal in Quimper .
