Carl Friedrich Gademann

Carl Friedrich Gademann (* 1846 in Schweinfurt ; † 1910 there ) was a German entrepreneur .

Gademann came from one of the oldest families in Schweinfurt. He was the owner of the white and colored paint factory "Gademann & Co.", which was founded by his grandfather Johann Georg Gademann (1754-1813) in 1780, has been based in Niederwerrn since 1792 and was run as a family business until 1910, for the production of chemical colors, which between 70 (1880) and 120 (1900) employees. The company is the oldest mineral paint factory in Bavaria .

Gademann later received the title of Commerce Councilor .

In 1896 he had the Schweinfurt master builder Bruno Specht build the now listed villa with ornamental gable and tower, with garden terraces and portals as well as ancillary buildings on his property at Bergstrasse 8 .

Gademann married Franciska Sattler . His son was Kommerzienrat Ferdinand Gademann (1880–1969), heir to the company after his father's death (1910).
