Carl Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg , modernized Karl Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg (born August 26, 1785 in Kriegstedt ; † April 1, 1850 ) was a royal Saxon senior court judge in Leipzig and court and government councilor in Merseburg, later district administrator of the Prussian district of Merseburg and MP.

Life

Carl Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg came from the noble family von Grünberg . He was the son of the electoral Saxon or from 1806 royal Saxon chamberlain and manor owner Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg and his wife Henriette nee von Krahn (born August 31, 1766 - October 3, 1814), daughter of Johann Reinhold von Krahn and Gisela Agnesa Magdalena of Munchausen.

In 1809 he bought the Weßmar manor from his wife and her sister Ernestina Henriette von Seebach, née von der Schulenburg .

From 1816 to 1822 Carl Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg was the first district administrator of the newly formed Prussian district of Merseburg .

Carl Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg was married to Amalie Friederike, née von der Schulenburg. She was the daughter of the chief forest and hunter master Gebhard Friedrich Casimir von der Schulenburg . His wife brought half of the Weßmar manor into the marriage. From this marriage came the son Heinrich Friedrich Rudolph von Grünberg, who was born on May 22nd, 1810 in Merseburg. The wife died on May 29, 1810 of the consequences of the birth of her son in Merseburg and was buried in the family crypt in Weßmar
