Carl Friedrich von Leypold

Carl Friedrich Leypold , from 1853 von Leypold , (born April 24, 1809 in Ellwangen (Jagst) , † April 10, 1882 in Rottweil ) was a Württemberg governor.

Life and work

Carl Friedrich Leypold was the son of a camera administrator . After attending grammar school in Stuttgart, he studied camera and law in Tübingen from 1827 to 1830 . In 1831 he passed the service examination at the Department of the Interior (Ministry of the Interior). Leypold began his professional career from 1832 to 1836 as an actuary at the Welzheim District Office . From 1836 to 1837 he was chief administrator and from 1837 to 1841 chief magistrate in Wangen , from 1841 to 1848 then chief magistrate at the Neuenbürg chief office and from 1848 to 1877 at the Rottweil chief office . In 1874 he was given the title of Government Councilor, and in 1877 he was retired.

Honor, ennoblement

In 1853 Carl Friedrich von Leypold received the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , which was associated with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement )
