Carl Goetz
Carl Götz (born September 9, 1818 in Marburg ; † August 28, 1879 there ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Life
Carl Götz studied law at the Philipps University in Marburg . In 1840 he became a member of the Corps Hasso-Nassovia . After graduating, he entered the civil service of the Electorate of Hesse . From 1845 an intern at the Marburg Police Department and in 1851 at the Schmalkalden administrative office, in 1852 he became district secretary at the Hofgeismar district office. In 1857 he switched to the police department in Fulda as an assessor. In 1864/65 Götz was appointed district administrator of the Hünfeld district. He held the office after the annexation of Electorate Hesse by Prussia until his death.
