Carl Gravenhorst (lawyer)

Carl Gravenhorst (* 27. January 1837 in Carrenzien , Amt Neuhaus , circle Bleckede , † 4. August 1913 in Lüneburg ) was a lawyer and member of parliament .

Gravenhorst was a privy councilor and high court attorney in Lüneburg . There he was a total of 46 years in the mayor's college, 38 of which as a “spokesman”.

From 1871 to 1874 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 16 (Lüneburg- Winsen - Soltau - Bleckede ).

In 1900 he was made an honorary citizen of Lüneburg.
